Hawthorn Days and Wildflower Ways

Our P7 pupils had a wonderful time exploring famine times at the Ulster American Folk Park recently. Having read the brilliant Under the Hawthorn Tree and The Wildflower Girl by Marita Conlon - Mc Kenna, our pupils were well prepared for the fascinating experience of real life 1800's Ireland.
